Malheur Cave Directions

Step #1 - Go to Burns, OR

Step #2 - Go thru Burns & travel East on Hwy 78.

Step #3 - At mile post 52 turn left towards Tree Top Ranch.

Step #4 - Go “exactly” 3 miles on dirt road following signs.

Step #5 - After the 4th cattle guard, turn left around corral.

Step #6 - Follow the dirt road west. If you’re seeing seagulls and surfers 🏄‍♀️ you’ve gone too far and you need to back track a little.

NOTE: Additional directions should you arrive before the signs are placed:

Between Mile-Markers 51 & 52 on Hwy 78 there is an entrance arch that says "Treetop Ranch" with American Flags flying on the corners, turn there.  

A couple of miles in there will be a "Y" and a house, stay to the left.  

A couple of more miles there will be a set of corrals, turn left at the far side.  

The Cave will be on the left about 1/3 mile in.  

For event parking, continue on the road until it dead-ends in the parking meadow where the cookhouse is located.
